After finishing the season in 17th place, Tim Sherwood is set to bulk up his midfield with League 1 duo, Massimo Luongo and Ben Gladwin from Swindon – despite competition from QPR according to The Telegraph.
Luongo comes from the Tottenham academy and will know Sherwood all to well, which seems to be a reason for the Paul Lambert – like signing.
Swindon chairman Lee Power is expected to try and squeeze out another £500k out of the deal for the players, valuing them both as £2m each, however it seems Villa are sticking to their original deal of £3.5m.
