Aston Villa manager, Tim Sherwood, is expecting a busy summer and has lined up a move for Feyenoord playmaker, Jordy Clasie.
According to reports in the Daily Telegraph, Clasie is one of a list of names Sherwood is working hard to get deals done for.
The £7 million-rated playmaker has also been heavily linked with Southampton, but Sherwood has also joined the race for the Dutch international.
Southampton manager, Ronald Koeman has previously said he would like Clasie to succeed Schneiderlin in the Saints midfield, after managing the midfielder while he was at Feyenoord, but Sherwood believes he can beat Dutch manager to his signature.
Clasie is known for his passing ability. The Feyenoord man has a wide range to his passing and is able to spray the ball effortlessly. Opening up games.
The 24-year old had six assists last season scoring twice in 33 league apperances.
It is believed Tim Sherwood sees Clasie as a perfect replacement for Cleverley who left after his loan spell for Everton.
