Aston Villa have emerged as the shock destination for Barcelona winger, Adama Traore.
Adama Traore, 19, was expected to have a medical at Liverpool this week according to a story running in the Liverpool Echo but Liverpool have supposedly never shown an interest in the Barcelona prodigy.
With Traore wanting a move to the Premier League, James Pearce suggests a move to Aston Villa or Stoke is the most likely destination for the 19-year old.
To add further legs to the story, Traore is said to have missed Barcelona training today in hope of seeing a deal being completed this week. Traore has had interest from in Spain, but the Premier League is where the former-Spanish U19 wants to develop his game.
If a deal was to be struck between the Catalonian side and Villa it is believed a buy-back option would be a definite clause in the deal.
Traore has made 63 appearances for Barcelona B since 2013 finding the net 8 times.
