Aston Villa’s Libor Kozak is in talks with Celtic according Gary Jacob in the Times. The report also suggests that German side, FSV Mainz are also interested in the frontman.
The 26-year old was signed towards the backend of the 2013 summer transfer window from Lazio, but the Czech international has only featured in a Villa shirt 14 times after breaking his leg early in 2014.
On his return to full fitness this summer, Kozak found the net three times during pre-season, but it is evident manager, Tim Sherwood sees the Czech as surplus to requirements at Villa Park as he looks to reshape his squad further.

The proposed move away from Villa Park will come as a surprise to many Villa fans who witnessed a resurgent Kozak during pre-season. It is evident Villa are looking at other strikers if Sherwood was to let the 6ft 3″ talisman to leave B6.
