Aston Villa are running the rule of Chelsea striker, Loic Remy as well as Arsenal’s Joel Campbell. The news comes with Villa currently rock bottom of the Premier League.
Jonny Gould, an Aston Villa fan and journalist has tweeted that a source has told him that The Villans have looked at a potential move for one of the two strikers mentioned with Rudy Gestede struggling in front of goal and Libor Kozak frozen out by Remi Garde.
Source: Striker is #avfc priority in January's window. Realistically on-loan. Remy from #cfc & #afc's Campbell mentioned.

Remy welcome in Remi’s side – Matt Lynch
Remi Garde clearly knows he needs a striker – it is hardly rocket science. The Villans are in an awful run of form not winning since the opening game of the season. There is a clear lack of ability and creativity up front so a move for Loic Remy would be superb and surely help any chance Villa have of surviving.
Meanwhile, Campbell hasn’t set the world on fire since his lively World Cup for Costa Rica in 2014, but he would offer a different dimension to what is currently on offer at Villa Park.
