Villa scout out three players in Europa League game

Aston Villa sent scouts to watch three Anderlecht players as they took on FK Qarabag in the Europa League.

HITC source Anderlecht Online who suggest that Villa sent scouts to the game with Here is the City believing Dennis Praet is one of three players the Midlands side were watching.

The Villans were also reportedly watching the young midfielder, Youri Tielemans, and the highly right-back Andy Najar alongside the long-term target of Praet who many Villa fans will remember from the transfer rumours during last summer.

Interesting targets – Matt Lynch

I can’t pretend that I know who Najar or Tielemans are, but Praet is the one transfer rumour that will not go away. The frighteningly talented attacking midfield is the sort of player Villa should be looking at if they are to stand any chance of surviving this season.

The links with an 18-year-old in Tielemans do not shock me as he fits the sort of player the recruitment team are looking for, but this would be a catastrophic waste of money will Villa in such a desperate and perilous position with inexperience already.
