Aston Villa boss Remi Garde has made Chelsea striker, Loic Remy his top priority as he searches for a goal scorer to lead Villa out of the Premier League relegation zone.
Get French Football News , who broke stories such as Villa’s move for Idrissa Gueye, suggest that Remy is keen to leave Chelsea in the hope of pushing for a space in France’s Euro 2016 squad and Villa could be an option for the forward.
Remi Garde had previously worked with Remy as a youngster at Lyon making it more of a possibility that Villa could be his new home.
The site also reports how Southampton and Swansea City have already made contact over the former-Newcastle striker who has found the net once in seven appearances so far this campaign.
Hope – Matt Lynch
A move for Loic Remy is exciting. He blitzed in goals for QPR and Newcastle, but he hasn’t found first team football easy going at Chelsea. A move to Villa Park would be perfect for his Euro chances and Villa’s survival hopes.
