Aston Villa have reportedly shown an interest in a deal for the Hungarian striker, Adam Szalai. TransferMarkt report how The Villans have shown an interest in the Hoffenheim forward. The report from them came via the Hungarian newspaper, Nemzeti Sport.
Szalai is yet to feature this season for the German Bundesliga outfit and only mustered 13 appearances last season as he struggled to break into the side after a move from Schalke in 2014.
On the international stage Szalai has also struggled netting only eight times in 29 appearances.
Nemzeti Sport say that QPR and three other sides on the continent want the forward in January with Hoffenheim willing to let him leave.
No no no – Matt Lynch
This link is an odd one but nothing new for Villa fans. Villa tracking an unknown quantity is not new at all. This report is highly frustrating given Villa’s desperate need for a goalscorer which this man certainly is not.
