Remi Garde confirms he wants Chelsea striker

Remi Garde has confirmed in his press conference ahead of Saturday’s trip to Sunderland that he wants Chelsea striker, Loic Remy on loan, describing him as a ‘special’ player.

The Villans have been linked with Remy for a while now and the Frenchman confirmed he was one of numerous players he is trying to attract to the West Midlands side as he looks to salvage Villa and pull them out of the relegation zone.

He also confirmed how he had already been in contact with some targets saying that despite Villa’s current plight it is not putting players off the prospect of playing for the B6 side.

What I have done already doesn’t show me that nobody wants to join this football club.

Garde’s side sit bottom of the Premier League and the lack of a goal scorer has played a major part in the issues at Villa Park. While saying he could work with what Villa have already Garde believes that it ‘could’ be of help to have more players in that have more confidence and experience.
