Aston Villa have reportedly been the latest club to send their scouts out to look over South Korean international forward Suk Hyun-Jun. The Daily Mail report.

The 24-year-old is currently plying his trade out in Portugal for Primeira Liga side Vitoria but has been attracting interest from other European clubs as of late, such as Celtic and Sunderland, with Villa being one of them.

Hyun-Jun has bagged 13 goals in 32 appearances for the Portuguese side who currently sit in 8th place since joining in 2015; an impressive goal record for a mid-table side.

Not only is the South Korean forward highly regarded at club level, but the Ajax academy graduate is also a very good forward option for his country and has scored two goals for his native South Korea.

It would come as no surprise to see Villa move for the exciting striker, given Remi Garde’s side’s lack of goals as of late that has ultimately led them to the foot of the Premier League and badly in need of a goalscorer.

Could Hyun-Jun be the answer to goal-shy Villa’s striking problems?
