Aston Villa‘s website has confirmed that summer signing, Jose Angel-Crespo has joined La Liga side, Rayo Vallecano on loan for the remainder of the 2015-16 season. He has two and a half years remaining on his current contract at B6.
Angel-Crespo joined The Villans in the summer from Cordoba for around £500k, but he has failed to make a mark in the first team under Tim Sherwood or Remi Garde.
The right-back come centre-back only made one Premier League appearance in a defeat to Stoke City in August. He also featured in a League Cup defeat to Southampton.
He started his career in Spain at Sevilla after coming through their youth system.
The 29-year old had his name broadcast worldwide after an incident with Cristiano Ronaldo while playing for Córdoba last season, which saw the Real Madrid star sent off.
Premier League life has been tough for Crespo though, and he has seemingly failed to impress Remi Garde.
