Aston Villa look set to sign Croatia international goalkeeper, Lovre Kalinic from Hadjuk Split according to AlfredoPedulla.
The report suggests that Villa have had a bid in the region of £5-million accepted for the shot-stopper.
Kalinic previously made it clear that a move to England was preferable despite interest from the continent in Lazio and Besiktas. Sunderland and Leicester City were also looking at Kalinic.
Personal terms are to be agreed with the Croat expected to fly to Birmingham in the coming days to complete his medical and to finalise his move to the club who currently sit bottom of the Premier League table.
Remi Garde told the press after the Wycombe game that Kalinic could be the keeper Villa are chasing.
