Loic Remy given Chelsea repreave

Loic Remy has been given permission to leave the South London but there is a catch.

The Daily Mirror have reported that Remy can leave on loan this January as long as Alexandre Pato joins Chelsea, giving Chelsea the added depth and quality going forward.

Villa will face stiff competition, with the likes of Crystal Palace, Swansea and Newcastle circling around the French forward for his signature.

Loic Remy was the center of controversy at the beginning of the transfer window after Villa Manager Remi Garde openly professing his desire to bring the striker to B6, something that infuriated Chelsea manager Gus Hiddink.

Despite apologizing for his comments, it seems Garde’s interest has not wavered, still being in the market for a striker with a proven record of scoring goals in the Premier League.

The hope is that Remi Garde can use his connection of working with the striker at Lyon to try to engineer a move.
