Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi could be subject to a surprise loan move to Turkish side, Trabzonspor according to reports by a Turkish news outlet, Fotospor.
The report says that the Villa defender, who has been sidelined since November with a cruciate knee ligament injury could be offered the chance to join the Süper Lig side who finished 12th this season for a season before returning to Villa Park with the Villans hopefully a Premier League side again.
The 22-year old joined Villa last summer for £9-million from OGC Nice and immediately became a fan favourite in a position that had haunted Villa for so many years. He featured 12 times before suffering a nasty injury whilst on international duty with the French U21 squad.
His adventurous performances at left-back drew much praise and man of the match awards. He set up Rudy Gestede’s goal in last September’s victory over local rivals Birmingham City in the League Cup.
