Aston Villa target Tommy Elphick has cut short his holiday to complete a medical at the Midlands side according to a report.
The Bournemouth Echo report that the Bournemouth defender has cut short his honeymoon in Italy to be able to to complete his deal at Aston Villa early this week.
A bid of around £3-million is believed to have been accepted by the Premier League for Elphick who was not happy with the contract offer given to him by Eddie Howe.
Elphick did not feature as much as he would have wanted to for Bournemouth last season with an ankle injury blighting his season.
He originally joined Bournemouth in 2012 from Brighton for only £175,000 and helped the Cherries gain two promotions in three years making over 140 appearances but only 12 of them coming in the Premier League last season.
What do you make of the potential signing of Tommy Elphick?
