Aston Villa have put a £6-million price on Celtic target Scott Sinclair according to reports.
The Mail Online report how Villa were quick to dismiss an initial offer from the Hoops of £2-million, but it is said that Roberto Di Matteo believes Sinclair could be an important part of his squad next season and only a substantially higher offer could tempt Villa to part with the former Swansea City winger.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers worked with Sinclair at Swansea where he played his best football and is keen to make him part of his side in Glasgow as he looks to win a maiden title as manager at Celtic Park.

Sinclair has failed to really hit the heights of his Swansea days since leaving the Welsh side for Manchester City in 2012. During his time at City he only made 12 appearances before joining Villa on loan in January 2015.
He signed permanently last summer after impressing under Tim Sherwood especially in the Villans FA Cup run. Since then he really hasn’t impressed fans only making 21 appearances last season and scoring twice.
