Celtic are going to go in with a fifth bid for Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair which they are hopeful of being accepted after the Championship side confirmed the signing of Ross McCormack.
The Herald in Scotland report that the Hoops are keen to complete a move for Sinclair before their next clash in the Champions League qualifying rounds so he can feature.
With the draw for the next round taking place tomorrow in Nyon and the first leg of the play off fixtures set to be played out 16/17 August, it doesn’t leave them much time to get a deal over the line before the registration cut off date.

The SPL side have had various bids rejected so far with fees ranging from £1-3 million. But not seemingly Villa will be willing to do business with a new man in and Celtic willing to up their bid.
Sinclair has previously played under Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers at Swansea City where some of his best football in his career has been played.
The 27 year old has made 30 appearances in claret and blue shirt since an initial loan move from Manchester City in January 2015 which was made permanent last summer.
