Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers would love the chance to take over at Aston Villa, according to former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
Speaking about the contenders to replace Steve Bruce, as reported by the Belfast Telegraph, Redknapp believes that Rodgers should be under consideration for the position.
He’s done it all, won it all in Scotland. I’m sure he’d love to come back now. I know they’re not Premier League but Villa are a club that have certainly got potential to get back into the Premier League. I’m sure he’d love the opportunity to come back and manage in England again.

Reports have linked the former Liverpool boss with the position after winning back-to-back trebles at Celtic.
Rodgers has been heavily linked with moves back to England and was believed to be on both Chelsea’s and Arsenal’s shortlist to replace Antonio Conte and Arsene Wenger respectively.
The Championship side will make an approach for Rodgers if reports are to be believed, but it is unclear where he ranks on the club’s shortlist at this stage.
Thierry Henry and John Terry are among the early favourites for the position, however, the former is looking increasingly unlikely to replace Bruce at Villa Park.
