An Aston Villa Allan bid worth €25million plus €5million in add-ons has been rejected by Palmeiras. The Brazilian club have told Villa that the versatile 22-year-old will not be sold during the current transfer window.
UOL reports that Villa contacted Palmeiras about Allan’s availability, before presenting a package potentially worth €30million. The initial information came from Brazilian journalist André Hernan.
Aston Villa Allan bid rejected by Palmeiras
The proposed agreement included €25million guaranteed and a further €5million linked to performance targets.
However, Palmeiras thanked Villa for their interest and made clear that Allan is not available. The Brazilian side consider him an important part of Abel Ferreira’s squad as they challenge for the league, Copa do Brasil and Copa Libertadores.
Allan has recorded six goals and four assists across 34 appearances in 2026. The left-footed attacker can operate from the right, centrally or in a deeper midfield position, offering Unai Emery several possible uses.
Villa’s approach supports reports that Emery still wants another wide player. ReadAstonVilla revealed on Tuesday that another winger could arrive after Alejandro Garnacho, particularly if Leon Bailey completes his expected departure.
Allan would provide a different profile to Garnacho. He is comfortable moving inside from the right and can help progress possession through midfield rather than remaining close to the touchline.
Palmeiras’ position leaves Villa with a decision over whether to improve their offer or pursue another target. The club previously rejected a package worth €35million from Napoli, indicating that Villa’s opening proposal was unlikely to change their stance.
No further Aston Villa Allan bid has been reported. Palmeiras currently intend to retain the player rather than begin negotiations.
