Ndour, 22, joined Fiorentina from Paris Saint-Germain in February 2025.
His career has already taken him through several European leagues. After developing at Benfica, he moved to PSG and spent time on loan with Braga and Beşiktaş.
The Italian midfielder’s career record places his move to Florence after those loan spells, giving him an opportunity to establish himself in Serie A.
For Villa, the immediate question is whether the reported interest develops into a concrete approach. The information available does not establish an agreed fee or personal terms.
Newcastle’s reported involvement adds potential competition, although there is no basis yet to describe either club as favourites.
