It seems Leicester have tried to warn away Aston Villa with a £15m valuation of Jamie Vardy after Sherwood raised interest for the newly capped England striker, according to the Metro.
The pacey striker had a fantastic end to the season helping to save Leicester from the drop, with an enthusiastic and aggressive style of play.
However, many fans have declared the price tag of Jamie Vardy to be to expensive when he has only had a decent few months in the Premier League.
Time will tell whether the deal will come to fruition, but with Benteke’s future uncertain it seems that it could be possible that a lot more strikers will get linked with Villa.
