Aston Villa have gone toe-to-toe with local rivals, West Bromwich Albion for Blackburn Rovers, £6-million rated, Rudy Gestede.
Gestede, 26, had a superb season in front of goal last season hitting 20 goals in 39 games – partnering in-demand striker Jordan Rhodes up front.
