Phillipe Senderos is said to heading for Turkish Super Lig outfit Caykur Rizepor, according to EuroSport.
But it seems likely they are not the only Turkish side interested in the Swiss centre-back – Antalyaspor have expressed interest and it is reported by FotoMac that he is siding towards a move to Southern Turkey.
Antalyaspor have already signed Samuel Eto’o this season, with reports of the club also approaching Ronaldinho and other high-profile players.
Out Of Favour
Senderos has been out of favour with Tim Sherwood since his arrival at the club – clearly not rating the former-Arsenal centre-back. Sherwood has also seemingly not even giving him a chance in the first team.
Furthermore, with speculation that another centre-back is on Sherwood’s radar the departure of the Swiss international looks more likely.
Injury problems also didn’t help him breaking into the starting line-up either, which could be another reason why the Swiss giant has been ousted by manager, Tim Sherwood. .
Senderos has made 8 appearances for Aston Villa.
