MLS side, LA Galaxy are ready to move back in for Joleon Lescott with a three-year deal on offer according to reports from The Mirror.
Lescott joined Villa in the summer from West Bromwich Albion and has gone on to make 15 appearances so far this campaign, scoring on two occasions including in VIlla’s only win since August, in a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
The former Manchester City and Everton man is under contract at Villa Park until 2017, so the Villans are under no pressure to sell, especially if they believe the centre-half can play a vital role in helping Remi Garde’s side mount a serious fight against possible relegation from the Premier League.
If Lescott was to leave for the MLS he would link up with former England team-mate, Ashley Cole who moved to Los Angeles from A.S Roma in early January.
Meanwhile, Sunderland have had a bid rejected for Micah Richards.
