Aston Villa are not interested in signing Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford or Fulham striker Ross McCormack according to reports.
Pat Murphy from the BBC says that the Villans are in the market for a striker but as previously reported by various news outlets neither Bamford or McCormack are of interest for manager Roberto Di Matteo.

Di Matteo is said to be in the market for a creative player and owner Dr Tony Xia has previously talked about how one of the main priorities was to get a goalscorer in over the summer window.

Earlier on today Aston Villa confirmed their second signing of the summer with the capturing of goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini from Hellas Verona who joins centre half Tommy Elphick at Villa Park.
The news that McCormack and Bamford are not targets this summer is bound to disappoint a few fans but now it is a waiting game to see who the club is targeting this window.
A move for Aaron Tshibola meanwhile is expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
