Aston Villa will let goalkeeper Brad Guzan leave this summer as Roberto Di Matteo looks to cull his squad with the current number of senior players over 30.
The Birmingham Mail report that the American shot-stopper will seek new pastures this summer with first team football now not guaranteed after the arrival of the former Manchester Untied goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini joined the Midlands side.

It is said that Gollini is set to be Villa’s number one in the upcoming season with Guzan being linked with a move away from Villa Park.
Reports have previously suggested that Middlesbrough were interested in Guzan but they have since signed Victor Valdes on a free transfer.
Roberto Di Matteo has insisted that he is yet to make his mind up on the future of the 31-year-old who joined the Villans originally from Chivas USA in 2008.
Right now we’re going to have four ‘keepers with Jed Steer and Brad and Mark Bunn, so we’ll see how that pans out.
Obviously we’re going to go with three ‘keepers into the season and we’ll see what the next three or four weeks brings.
He was released after the 2011/12 season but was invited back to the club by Paul Lambert which is when he became number one.
