Aston Villa have made an offer to Bristol City for Jonathon Kodjia, despite interest from Stoke City, Sunderland, Derby County, and Spanish side Villarreal.
As reported by Get French Football, Roberto Di Matteo’s side are wasting no time in preparing for their bid to win promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
Kodjia has been earmarked as a key target after starring for Bristol City last season. La Liga side, Villarreal have been scouting the player since he was applying his trade in France for Angers.

Villa will be hoping to beat off Premier League interest from Stoke and Sunderland, who are both in the market for strikers in the hope of adding goals to their squad for next season.
The French-born Ivorian international scored 19 times in all competitions for Bristol City last season after joining from the French side in 2015. He ended the season as their top goalscorer.
