Ayew off to join West Ham United and his brother?

Jordan Ayew could be on his way out of Villa Park amid interest from Premier League side West Ham.

The Birmingham Mail report that the Ghanian could be on his way to the Hammers where his brother Andre, recently signed from Swansea City for £20 million.

A move to West Ham would see the Ayew brothers link up with each other for the first time since they both played in the French top flight with Marseille. The Stoke Sentinel suggest it could be a season-long loan.

Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia has reiterated numerous times that Ayew would not be leaving Villa Park this summer despite rumoured interest.

It would surely be a huge blow for the Villans if Ayew was to leave to link up with his brother at West Ham United.

West Bromwich Albion were said to also have a genuine interest in Jordan Ayew.

Opinion of Matt Lynch

I can’t honestly see Dr Tony Xia tweeting numerous times about Jordan Ayew staying without some intent behind it. He has publicly said he would be staying so I trust that we will not be losing Jordan Ayew this summer.

It does concern me though to a degree as the lure to link up with your brother in London may be a big one and he could potentially force a move.
