Joleon Lescott has been spotted meeting Rangers boss Mark Warburton with rumours hotting up suggesting he is being lined up for a move to the Scottish Premier League.
The former Manchester City centre-back who only joined the Midlands side last summer from West Bromwich Albion took a lot of abuse from the Villa faithful last season as they were relegated.
He infamously tweeted a picture of his car after the club’s 6-0 loss to Liverpool as Villa’s form tumbled and they were relegated.

Roberto Di Matteo told Lescott a few weeks ago that he was free to leave the club on a free transfer along with Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Lescott featured 30 times in Villa’s doomed campaign last time out and it will come a sigh of relief to many fans that he is seemingly off to play in the SPL under Mark Warburton.
Who is next to go now Lescott is seemingly off?
