Aston Villa owner reveals talks for ‘world class striker’

Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia has revealed that the Midlands side are in talks to sign a ‘world class’ number nine striker and also a full back with deals hopefully being wrapped up in the next week.

The Championship side’s owner took to Twitter earlier this evening to reveal that the club were looking to complete both pieces of business within the next week ahead of next weekend’s clash with Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
