Aaron Tshibola set for January exit

Aaron Tshibola is considering his future with Aston Villa after having first-team opportunities limited of late.

The £5m summer arrival from Reading was a regular in the side early in the season under Roberto Di Matteo, making six appearances, including four starts, from seven games he was fit to play either side of a groin injury which saw him miss a month of action.

However, since Steve Bruce took charge of the Villains, Tshibola has started just one match, the first Bruce managed for the club, and hasn’t featured since and the former England U18 international is now considering leaving the club on loan when the January transfer window opens up, according to the Birmingham Mail.

It’s believed that there is interest in a move to Rangers while a transfer to another English club hasn’t been ruled out.

The 21-year-old will definitely seek a loan move out if he’s not given more first-team football in the near future.
