Championship rivals, Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday are both interested in signing Ross McCormack.
According to the Daily Mail, the striker is being linked with a move away from the club following a fall out with manager Steve Bruce.
Bruce publicly slammed the player after he was unable to make training and has since been forced to train with the club’s U23s.
It is now being reported that Villa will listen to offers but Bruce’s public treatment of the player may leave the club taking a hit on the £12 million they paid Fulham for the striker.
The club are open to letting the Scotsman leave on loan with a view to a permanent move elsewhere.
Derby will be hopeful in their pursuit of the player with Wednesday still interested in signing Jordan Rhodes from Middlesbrough.
The 30-year-old has scored just three goals for Villa since joining this summer in 20 appearances in the league.
