Fulham no longer interested in re-signing McCormack

Despite the move looking all but done at one stage, Ross McCormack will not be re-signing for Fulham this month.

The Sunday Express reported that the Aston Villa striker was set to rejoin Fulham on a loan deal until the end of the season, with Steve Bruce unimpressed with McCormack’s poor attitude and commitment to the team.

However, the Birmingham Mail are now reporting that the West London club are now no longer interested in bringing McCormack back to Craven Cottage as Villa seek out potential suitors for the striker.

The 30-year-old is now training with the U23 side, say the Telegraph, under the orders of Bruce after the Scotland international skipped training because the electric gates to his house would not open.

Fitness levels have been an issue for McCormack all season and now Villa are weighing up whether to offload him with fellow Championship outfits Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday eager to sign the player who only joined Villa in the summer, report the Daily Mail.
