According to the Birmingham Mail, Aaron Tshibola could be on the verge of leaving Aston Villa on loan in the coming days.
The 21-year-old is a man in demand with Nottingham Forest interested in bringing the player Roberto Di Matteo signed last summer to the City Ground.
With the arrival of three highly talented midfielders to Villa Park, and the player having not featured much under Steve Bruce, this would make a lot of sense.
The youngster has already expressed a desire to move away from Villa Park in an attempt to find first team football, but Bruce would not allow it. However, with his new additions to the squad, Bruce might now have changed his mind.
Celtic and Rangers are also said to be keen to acquire Tshibola’s services this January, and reports suggest that the Scottish rivals are set to battle it out for former Reading man.
Fulham and Wigan Athletic are also interested, but a loan move to Scotland is a more attractive option to Villa than loaning him out to a rival.
