Aston Villa are thought to be interested in signing Exeter City’s Ollie Watkins to replace Jack Grealish, as reported by the Exeter Express and Echo.
Grealish has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough in the final days of the January transfer window.
Watkins has impressed for Exeter over the last couple of seasons and is viewed as one of the brightest young prospects in England’s fourth tier of football.

The 21-year-old has scored 10 goals across all competitions this season already.
City boss, Paul Tisdale has been very vocal with regards to the player’s future, admitting that several clubs have enquired about the player, who he expects to go to the very top.
Fellow League Two side, Mansfield Town have already seen a £350,000 bid laughed away for the attacker, which is an indication of how much Villa will need to spend in order to land the promising youngster from the Devon-based outfit.
