According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, Steve Bruce is expecting a busy summer in the transfer market, with the future of 7 loaned out players still to be decided.
At the moment, Villa have Veretout, Gil, Cissokho, Gollini, McCormack, and Tshibola all plying their trade away from Villa Park, while it is believed that Sanchez has already triggered a permanent move to Serie A side Fiorentina.
Bruce, who is hoping to take Villa back to the Premier League at the second time of asking, has declared that he plans to strengthen in all areas and has many targets in mind, but he is remaining tight-lipped on who his potential summer targets are.
However, one deal that we all know Bruce wants to make is signing Johnstone permanently from Manchester United. Furthermore, with Kodjia potentially out for around 6 months, Bruce will probably be tempted to find a quality striker to play up front with Scott Hogan.
Bruce is very keen to attract Premier League players to Villa Park, but he might have to settle for deals with Championship clubs due to the high prices that top-flight clubs are demanding nowadays.
