According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, French giants PSG are interested in acquiring the services of Villa’s Jordan Amavi.
The French U21 international has been made available for transfer after having fallen behind Wales international Neil Taylor in the left-back pecking order.
The left-back has attracted interest from all over Europe, and now Paris is now reportedly the latest destination for the 23-year old.
Supposedly PSG see Amavi as a possible alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Raphael Guerreiro as they continue their search for a decent replacement for Maxwell.
Villa are hoping to receive 9 million for Amavi so that they can recouperate all the money that they originally paid for him.
They will use any money received to bring in some new signings with the hope of building a team that will get the club back to the Premier League.
Amavi made 36 appearances for the club last season, but failed to make much of an impact as Villa finished in 13th place. As a result, most fans won’t be sad to see him go.
