According to a report by Football Insider, Sheffield United are interested in signing Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan on loan.
The Republic of Ireland international has yet to feature for Steve Bruce’s side this season, and he wasn’t even named in the matchday squads for the games against Hull and Wigan.

It is understood that Bruce is looking to bring in a striker on loan, and, if this was to happen, it would ultimately push Hogan further down the pecking order.
The 26-year-old has struggled to hold down a starting spot since he arrived at Villa Park back in January 17 for a fee that was reported to be around £12 million. In the 56 appearances that he has made for the club, he has only managed to score 7 goals.
Chris Wilder is looking to strengthen his attacking options, so a loan move could suit everyone involved in the long run.
