Steve Bruce has his eye on two experienced free agents
It’s no secret that Steve Bruce wants to add another central defender to his ranks, and according to a report in the Birmingham Mail, he has his eye on two really experienced free agents.
John Terry has been linked with a possible return to the club, but the 37-year-old has completed his medical at Spartak Moscow and looks set for a move to Russia in the coming days.
One of the players Bruce is interested in is Robert Huth, who is without a club after he left Leicester this summer. The 34-year-old is currently training at Stoke in order to stay fit, but it is believed that they are not interested in giving him a contract.
Former Villa man James Collins is the other man on Bruce’s radar. The 35-year-old was released from his West Ham contract back in May and is on the look out for a new club.
