According to Sky Sports News, Aston Villa will soon complete a load deal for Kourtney Hause.
The Wolves defender has struggled for game time under Nuno Espirito Santo – he has only featured in two Carabao Cup games this season and last season he made only one Championship appearance as Wolves stormed to the title.
Therefore, he is now looking for a move away from the club so that he can get his career back on track. West Brom were reportedly interested in acquiring his services, but it seems that he has chosen Villa Park as his preferred destination.
In fact, it is believed that the 23-year-old has already agreed personal terms with Villa and, if he plays well between now and the end of the season, he could earn himself a permanent move to Villa Park for around £2 million.
Dean Smith desperately needs to strengthen his defense during this transfer window if his side are to have any chance of promotion, so it’s very likely that Hause won’t be the only new addition this month.
It is believed that a deal with Wolves should be completed either later today or tomorrow, ensuring that Hause will be available for Villa’s game against Wigan on Saturday.
