Aston Villa have confirmed ticket details for their 2026/27 pre-season opener against Walsall, giving supporters the first clear sales information for Unai Emery’s summer build-up.
Villa announced on Friday that they will make the short trip to the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium on Tuesday, July 21, with kick-off scheduled for 7.30pm.
The fixture had already been listed on Villa’s confirmed pre-season schedule, but the release of ticket details moves it from calendar note to supporter priority.
Emery Gets Familiar Bescot Starting Point
Walsall’s own ticketing portal lists adult tickets at £15, under-18 tickets at £5 and car parking at £9 for the friendly.
It keeps the annual Bescot fixture in familiar territory: local, accessible and useful before Villa’s summer programme becomes more demanding.
For Emery, the value is obvious. This is usually the first public look at returning senior players, academy prospects and early tactical tweaks before the intensity rises.
Read Aston Villa has already covered Villa’s wider pre-season schedule, with Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach also on the list.
The Walsall game will not decide much on its own. It should still offer an early read on squad depth, rhythm and which fringe players are ready to force themselves into Emery’s thinking.
